Why do you need patient height when ordering the iWALKFree Hands Free Crutch?
The Hands Free Crutch is universal and can be adjusted for left or right leg and accommodates patients 4’11″ to 6’6″, yet if you watch the instructional video you will notice instructions to “cut the beam to length.” This adjustment is needed for people shorter than 5’9″ so that when leaning forward the beam does not hit the abdomen. WE WILL ADJUST THE BEAM TO THE PROPER LENGTH prior to shipping. Be cautious of online sellers who don’t ask. Most likely they are drop shipping from the manufacturer and you may have to cut it yourself… if you have the correct tools… and if you can do it safely balancing on one foot.

How do your solutions compare to others I’ve seen on the web?
As an independent distributor we can carry any product. We routinely purchase crutch alternatives and check them out by our staff, local health care providers and local patients. Based on the combined feedback we make our decision and our review. For a complete comparison of ALL Crutch alternatives on the market click here.
Do you bill insurance?
Unfortunately, with all of the various insurance providers we are not set up to bill your insurance provider directly. We will provide you with a paid receipt and a blank Letter of Medical Necessity for you to present to your health care provider to review and sign. These may be helpful in obtaining benefits from your insurer. The HCPCS Code for the Knee Scooter, Seated Scooter and Hands Free Crutch is E0118.

How do I know if this might be beneficial for me?
The best means is to talk with us regarding your particular need when you call (877) 266-3995. Items such as your ability to kneel, balance, other injuries or limitations, living and work conditions and expectations can all have an affect. If it’s a good solution for you we would be happy to serve you with one of our products. If not, we should be able to provide suggestions.
What if I rent it so long it would have been cheaper to purchase?
We understand you hope and plan for the shortest recovery. Longer recoveries are often beyond your or your health care provider’s control. Your rental charges are applied to the purchase price, so you will never spend more than the purchase price of a new unit. Many people like the rental so much they purchase it for themselves, a friend or a charity.

Your rental price includes the initial shipping to you. Return shipping is your responsibility. Many customers choose to purchase a return shipping label from us. This gives them access to our significantly discounted UPS rates and makes the return more convenient.
How much will return shipping cost?
This varies based on your location. Send it back the most cost-effective means. If you call us when you send it back, we will end the rental period so you are not charged while it is in transit. I can’t decide between the Hands Free Crutch, Walking Brace, Knee Scooter or Seated Scooter. Which is best for me?
- The Hands Free Crutch is ideal for the young, active and physically fit patient with good balance. The entire instructional video can be found on this site under Videos: Hands-Free Crutch.
- The Seated Scooter works for most any leg injury (hip, knee, ankle or foot), for people who find sitting more comfortable than kneeling.
- The Knee Scooter works for most people unable to bear weight on their foot or ankle. We offer the “Cadillac of knee scooters” at a “Chevy” price.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
We want you to be satisfied. That is why we give our Satisfaction Guarantee. If the unit doesn’t meet your needs, you may return it for a refund provided you send it back within 3 days in the same condition you received it. You will be responsible for the actual shipping charges and a $30 recertification fee that covers the required sanitation of the unit.
Who is NOT a candidate for a Knee Scooter?
You must be able to kneel on the affected knee. So if previous injury or surgery makes you unable to kneel or if you can’t bend your knee 90 degrees, these devices might not suitable. Some degree of balance is also required. If due to medical conditions or medications you are unable to stand, a wheel chair or standard walker might be more appropriate.
What is the Best Price Guarantee?
If you find the same product and service for a lower price, just let us know when placing your order. We will verify it and match it.
