Meet The Team

Tom Schwab
Founder & Owner

Thank you for visiting our website. It is important to us that you know we take joy and pride in serving you. We all see Goodbye Crutches as much as a ministry as a business. Every team member cares about your recovery. The decision to focus solely on crutch alternatives in 2009 was based upon the positive feedback from customers. You can find that feedback along with all the tips we’ve learned from patients here on the site. This site is dedicated to providing you valuable educational information. Yes we do sell products and services, but as Dave Ramsey said “where there’s no profits there’s no ministry”.

Karen Schwab
Customer Care Leader

I am very blessed to have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team and provide excellent service to all of our website visitors and phone callers. For many people, using Crutches or a Crutch Alternative is out of necessity and is usually unplanned. More than likely they are unfamiliar and overwhelmed with the choices they have found on the internet. Our team is well trained and committed to making their non-weight bearing recovery a more positive experience while finding the right solution for their needs.

Everyone on our Customer Service Team here at Goodbye Crutches knows the value of Excellent Service. We believe our Service is what can truly set us apart. We have a very simple philosophy here, “treat others the way you would want to be treated.” We look forward to serving you!

Susan Croll
Relationship Coordinator

I’m delighted to be part of the team. Goodbye Crutches prides itself on making service their priority and this makes my main function that much more rewarding. My main role is to build our referral base of physicians. By introducing the doctors and their staff to our service and providing them with the tools needed to help their patients, is very gratifying. It allows each practice to offer their patients other options that will enhance their day to day lives while recovering.

Sheila Eakle
Relationship Coordinator

My name is Sheila and I have a background in nursing and customer service. I call physician offices and follow through after a patient has used one of our non-weight bearing devices. During that call I will answer questions about our services and devices, and along the way, and to my surprise, a friendship begins. We stand behind educating and supporting ours patients, and we are here for you 24/7.

As Oprah said about President Obama, I say about Goodbye Crutches, “Its the real deal”. We are here to service you and exceed your expectations.

Hi, I am Schuyler Slone, it’s pronounce Sky-ler, but I am of Dutch origins and therefore the Schuy is the Dutch way to say Sky, so to make it easier, I just go by Sky. I am a Senior at Western Michigan University. I hope to graduate this spring with my degree in Journalism and a minor in English Literature. I hope to one day be a sports broadcaster, and follow my one true passion, Michigan Football. I serve as the Public Relations/Blogger and am here to make sure that you get a real sense of how these products have positively affected other people just like yourself, and how these products could positively affect you on your way to a speedy and full recovery.
