Tired of the itch and smell of a cast? Cure both with the Cast Cooler.
The CastCooler relieves cast/splint itch and odor by quickly drying moisture trapped in the lining.
Itching and bad odor results from moisture (perspiration, accidental wetting, etc.) that is trapped in the lining of your cast causing bacteria to grow.
The CastCooler immediately cools and freshens by drying this moisture out. Simply wrap it around your cast/splint and attach your vacuum hose.
To use:
- Completely remove the paper backing from the vinyl strip.
- Insert the nozzle from the tacky side. Rotate the nozzle to align the longer edge to the length of the wrap.
- Lightly stretch the wrap around the cast and let it cling unto itself.
- Connect a standard vacuum hose (household vacuum cleaner, shop vac, central vac, etc.) to the nozzle connection of the CastCooler.
- Turn vacuum on.
Relax and enjoy the cooling sensation of moisture being removed from the lining through your cast. The flow of air will completely dry your cast lining within minutes. Move the CastCooler to dry or cool other areas as needed. Repeat as often as desired or when your cast becomes moist or uncomfortable.
