Voyager - Arlene Johnson“Having surgery is never fun, but even worse is the limitation of mobility after wards. The Seated Scooter has changed this experience from miserable to tolerable. I can go from here to there without seeing the distance as climbing Mt Everest. Sitting up higher I felt more secure and was able to comfortably get around.”

Knee Scooter-Kathy Yarbough“I’m 58 & still recovering from massive lower back surgery 2 years ago. When I broke my foot, I was in a state of despair. How on earth would I be able to keep all my weight off my broken foot with just crutches & walkers without making the nerve pain in my lower back unbearable? And how would I be able to work! My husband & I are small business owners & are very short-staffed right now due to the economy. Well, I found out about knee walkers from the internet and ordered one from “goodbye crutches” based on customer reviews and pricing. It arrived the day I got home from the hospital from foot surgery. The people at Goodbye Crutches have been so responsive & helpful. I had a bit of a problem getting my knee walker adjusted and sent and email…..got an immediate response! I’ve had my knee walker for just a few days but i even took it local garden shop today! Works great. Thank goodness I found this company!”

Hands-free Crutch-JD Eskelson“As helpful as the Hands Free Crutch was in completing the Army 10 Mile Race, it was even more helpful in every day life. Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is for a grown man to ask someone to carry his tray at the cafeteria because your hands are tied up with crutches?”

Voyager - Elinor S“Goodbye Crutches has been prompt and professional in all dealings with me and the scooter. I lost my original prepaid return label and figured I’d have to buy another one. When I called, Karen stopped the rental that day and mailed me a new shipping label (at no charge). I will also keep you in mind for renting a scooter when I have the other foot operated on.”

Knee Scooter-Susan Epler“I thank God every day for this knee scooter. Life would be miserable with out it. It gets me around the house & is much easier to use than the regular walker. I even get jokes about getting speeding tickets while on my scooter. I look forward to using it outside in the next several weeks”

Voyager - Sue Zanville“What a wonderful item. The seated scooter gave me the freedom to “get around” without too much hassle. Everywhere I went people stopped me to inquire where I found such a practical item. It was especially handy in the Detroit Airport. I just flew thru, much better than a wheelchair and the gate checking you suggested made it extremely easy. Thank you again for making this time a bearable one!!”

“As a general Surgeon, I spend my working hours standing at an operating table. Impossible with crutches…I’ have been on my I WALK FREE for nearly 6 months. This device is fantastic, original, insightful and an important medical innovation…that has allowed me to maintain my job, my family, and my sanity despite a nasty injury.”

Voyager - John Mancusi“We greatly appreciate all of your assistance. Good buy Crutches has been such a pleasure to work with. Your products have made our life much easier than it could have been had we not found you. Everyone is intrigued with the scooter and writes down the phone number. We hope that we can help in bringing more business to your as you continue to help those in need during a very trying time in their lives.”

Knee Scooter-Matthew Johnson“For 3 months your knee walker enabled me to have full mobility despite a ruptured achilles tendon. Crutches were not an option for me!

I made 5 trips to and from major airports all with long concourses. My only problem was when my first knee scooter was damaged by the airline baggage handlers. Your customer service was superb. I had a replacement delivered to my front door in less than 2 days. I usually do not endorse products; however I would be resmiss if I did not offer my positive feedback on the well engineered device. It was indispensible for me. Without it my recovery would have been much more difficult & painful.

I took my Knee Scooter on a road trip in a ZHZ C6 Corvette. I was about 2 weeks post-op, but with the Knee Scooter I was tearing all over creation.”

Hands-free Crutch-Joan D“I received the Hands Free Crutch on Thursday evening. It was a bit tricky, but I was “walking” up & down steps by Friday morning. It was so good to be able to practice before my surgery. I came home after 3 nights at the hospital. My i WALK Free allowed me to go up & down the 7 steps between the levels in our home and gives me such confidence that I am not going to be “sequestered” to one level of my 4 level home.”

Knee Scooter-Robert Rex“The Turning Leg Caddy (TLC) Knee Scooter has been a godsend. I broke my heel during the harvest when I fell about 10′ off the back of a truck. I couldn’t stand crutches as I am a hands on wine maker and refused to stop working. My doctor told me about the caddy. The Turning Knee Scooter allows me to get around the winery with ease. We have 23,000 square feet of caves which I can get around faster than walking. I’m going to keep it around for that purpose even after I’m back on both feet. I go everywhere in it, including shopping. The basket has allowed me to carry my tools & greatly added to the convenience.”

Hands-free Crutch-Carol“With the Hands Free Crutch we were able to make our family vacation to Myrtle Beach. It even allowed me to go into the surf. The Best Tip: You can store your coat hangar in the beam – if you’ve ever had a cast in the summer you know what that’s for.”

“I just loved having the scooter. Wish I had found it sooner. It made me so much more mobile. While I’m happy to be back on both feet again, I know that I wouldn’t have had the opportunities to get out of the house with out the scooter. I’ve talked it up among other Physical Therapy friends so they should be referring some of their clients to you.”

Knee Scooter - Giselle Pohy“I can’t begin to tell you what a difference the knee scooter made my recovery from foot surgery. After spending two weeks on crutches, I discovered Goodbye Crutches while surfing the web and quickly place my order. The mobility that it gave me not only made life easier to stay off my foot, but it also saved my sanity! I was able to get around the house and even cook for my family on a daily basis.”

“I had originally rented a knee scooter from my orthopedic surgeon, but it was too bulky and hard to turn. I rented your turning knee scooter and it made it possible to return to my teaching profession just 2 weeks after surgery.”

Hands-free Crutch-Joe Truckey“What a great invention! It makes life better to include golf in my life, even though I can put zero weight on my leg. If not for the iWALKFree, I would have been unable to get my hole in one. My scores are not much higher either, this round I shot a 79. My regular handicap before the accident was a 6.”

Joe Truckey

“I love my scooter!! It has given me more freedom than I ever imagined. Today I drove to town, picked up a new grill at Lowe’s, got groceries at Wal Mart (pushed the grocery cart in front of me while on the scooter), stopped off at a jewelers, got a book from the library and back before noon. I was able to pick up the scooter and put it in the back seat of our extended cab truck and haul it to all those places because it is so lightweight. We have a 1 1/2 mile walking track around our park and I and go around it at least 3 times a week on my scooter. Everyone-everywhere I go stop to inquire about my new transportation and I give them all the reasons why I love it so much. Just wish people could follow me around and see how easily I get in and out of my house and just about anywhere I need to go.”

“This is to let you know how much this scooter has done for me-literally kept me out of the looney bin!!”

Hands-free Crutch-Dave Sanders“I walked in the 2 mile walk during part of the Parkersburg, WV Half Marathon event this weekend. You should have seen the looks on the faces of people in the crowd… people said they saw it on the 11 pm news. I was dead last & got smoked by an 86 year old on a cane. However, I was the first man across on one leg. I can’t believe how easy this thing is to use & how big of a secret it is. No one in the town… has ever even heard of Iwalkfree.”

“Folks, there’s a really great thing you can rent that will help you get rid of crutches. It’s called a Knee Scooter or Knee Walker and you can rent it through www.GoodbyeCrutches.com I broke my fibula in July & was told to use crutches but I got tired of them so I rented the knees scooter and it was a god-send. You put your injured leg on a little shelf and the other foot pushed you. It also has a basket on it so you can actually carry things. I LOVED IT! And the best part is that you don’t need to buy it, you can rent one. And insurance will probably cover it. And it’s very easy to put together. It literally saved me from going crazy. Check it out!”

Hands-free Crutch-Bryan Farr“On July 19th; 8 screws & 4 hours later I was out of surgery, after a successful, ‘open rt ankle fusion’. On July 21st, I left the General Hospital in Ottawa without the aid of a wheel chair! My wife brought me my ‘iWALKFree’ crutch; & after I demonstrated the COMPLETE FREEDOM & SAFETY I had in using your crutch; they allowed me to leave wearing it!!! I am now at home enjoying the freedom of my recovery period; thanks to you & your ‘iWALKFree’. Words can not express my gratitude.”

“I am sorry the turning knee scooter did not work for me. However I recommend you and your company for your prompt replies, clear cut guidelines, and general ease of use to work with. While I personally hope never to be on one foot again, I will be sure to recommend Goodbye Crutches to others.”

Hands-free Crutch-Nancy Turner“I crushed my leg a month ago when my horse fell on me, resulting in ‘tib/ fib’ fractures & ‘no weight bearing’ for (so far) five weeks. After three other stints on crutches before, the idea of a long crutch ‘season’ was beyond depressing. I started looking online and came across i walk-free. I liked the idea of the hands-free crutch…it didn’t require any use of your hands to operate or stabilize it & of course, the stairs can be navigated easily. I ordered it and couldn’t WAIT to get it and did it deliver! I have a hobby farm with 10 horses & I am able to do all the chores (I couldn’t even get out of stall mucking) because I no longer have my “lame excuse!”

“When I first got it, I used one crutch on the off side to help with balance & I still use the off side crutch when I go over uneven ground outside–but otherwise, once you get the hang of it, & the adjustment correct, it is so much easier & more comfortable than crutches. I wear it all day except to sit or drive & it does take some practice using the toilet. Thank you!!!!”
